The One Hour Bookkeeping Method is a response to all of the inquiries I get about bookkeeping.  People keep trying to hire me and I have to turn them away.  They then ask if I know of any educational courses that make bookkeeping simpler for small businesses.  The One Hour Bookkeeping Method is my answer to those needs… “You don’t need me; you just need a set of procedures to simplify bookkeeping.”  

That’s what The One Hour Bookkeeping Method is all about:  Simple bookkeeping for the average person working in a small business atmosphere.

Here is what you will find in the One Hour Bookkeeping Method:

1. 10 Very Simple Step-by-Step VIDEO Lessons: These lessons were created for the average bookkeeper, small business owner or other computer savvy person.  These lessons are short videos with the longest lesson being 8 minutes long and the shortest being 2 minutes.  All together, the videos take less than one hour to watch.
2. Follow Along Procedures: These videos were set up so that the average person can “follow along” in their bookkeeping program and do their books at the same time.  While they will not be able to do their books in one hour the first time they use this program (since new policies and procedures must be put in place first and books need to be “brought up to date” first), eventually every small business will be able to do their average day-to-day bookkeeping steps in one hour a day, a week, or even a month.
3. Day-to-Day Procedures: This program focuses on only the Day-to-Day procedures, and not Payroll, Bank Reconciliations, Taxes, etc.  The lessons that are covered include:
   1. Accounts Payable
   2. Accounts Receivable
   3. Sales Receipts
   4. Checking Account Entries
   5. Credit Card Entries
   6. Receiving Payments and Making Deposits
   7. Job Costing
   8. Printing Reports
   9. Easy Ways to Keep in Touch with Your Customers and Vendors
   10. And Even Filing.
4. These videos were made for QuickBooks Users specifically. While many of the lessons can be used with Quicken as well, and many of the lessons will help other bookkeeping program users, not all of the lessons will work for every bookkeeping program.  But, all of the lessons will work for QuickBooks, whether you have an older version or a newer version.
5. A List of QuickBooks Shortcuts:  Included with the One Hour Bookkeeping Method is a printable document that you can post near your computer.  This document details many of the shortcuts that QuickBooks uses, which will save you even more time.
6. A Set-Up Checklist: Two additional printable documents that you can use to make sure you are using your QuickBooks program at maximum efficiency in order to save time and avoid unnecessary data entry mistakes.
